Used between 2007 and 2008 by Native American soldiers stationed in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, including programs commemorating Native American Appreciation Month held in Sadam Hussein's Al-Faw Palace; subsequently used in a Cheyenne Soldier Dance held for Cody Ayon (Southern Cheyenne) in 2010 when he returned to the US from his deployment to Iraq; donated to NMAI by Cody Ayon in 2018.
