Hibben (1881-1956, a noted tomahawk collector) from an unnamed Allegany Seneca man who said it had belonged to his father and grandfather; inherited by Harold Hibben's nephew, Richard M. Fairbanks (1910-2000, an Indianapolis businessman); donated to MAI by Richard Fairbanks in 1958 in memory of Harold Hibben.
