Collection History:
Made by MAI staff member Edwin F. Coffin during the 1921 season of the Hendricks-Hodge Hawikku expedition, which was led by anthropologist Frederick Webb Hodge (1864-1956) and sponsored by MAI and MAI trustee Harmon W. Hendricks (1846-1928). As part of the same study, Coffin made phenotypic photo studies of the same individuals and others.
