An interview of Jesse Nusbaum conducted by Sylvia Loomis on 1963 Dec. 12 for the Archives of American Art.
Nusbaum speaks of working in archaeology and architecture in New Mexico; and his involvement in the Public Works of Art Project (PWAP) as regional director for Arizona and New Mexico; selecting artists for the PWAP; problems with the PWAP; some of the work done on public buildings; and the project's impact on art and artists.
