An interview of Daniel Millsaps conducted 1971 May 24, by Barry Schwartz and Laurin Raikin, for the Archives of American Art "Art World in Turmoil" oral history project.
Millsaps speaks of his background and the development of his interest in the arts; his involvement in community arts shows in Washington, D.C.; the origins of his publication, "Artsletter;" the politics of arts funding; improving arts funding on the local and community level; bureaucratic problems artists encounter; and the future of arts funding.
