Pasted on the cover of the album is a watercolor sketch by Peirce of an owl landing on a pumpkin with the text "calling Anna" (referring to his daughter Anna). <br>Photos are of Peirce, his family, friends (including Rockwell Kent and Ernest Hemingway) and pets. Many pictures show scenes of canoeing, sailing and fishing, around Searsport, Maine and elsewhere. Also included are two children's drawings and a program from a recital held at the Peirce's house.
