"Rented a farm house and are enjoying all the comforts of home. Spent the first few days at boarding house and decided we preferred housekeeping. Only a few miles from the Avery's. Decided to let my checks wait till I return. Swell landscape doing sketches and water colors. Till today it's been hot here too. How are you all? Love Adolph and Esther."
