Summary:
Shows Calder laying out a design on a piece of metal.<br>Identification on verso (handwritten): "Caracas 55 workshop of university." <br>Photo taken in Caracas at Escuela Técnica Industrial of the UCV (Central University of Venezuela), where Calder had been invited by his friend the architect Carlos Raul Villanueva. <br>Identification of location, photographer, and date from email correspondence with Mendoza's son Claudio Mendoza. This picture is one of several taken by Mendoza during Calder's stay in Caracas.
