Shows several women and one man seated outdoors at easels, with umbrellas to shield them from the sun. <br>Identification on verso (typewritten): The Art School hard at it; this photograph was taken in 1896 with the Sibley House in the background; in the group are Verna Ayer Okerberg, Minnie K. Bailey, Ella Nabersberg Byard, Antoinette De Forest Parsons, Burt Harwood, the instructor, Mrs. Edith Kendrick Sanders, Helen Brack, K. Maud Clum, and Zella Newcomb Bohn [sic]. <br>Ink stamp on reverse: St. Paul News.
