Recording has occasional background noise, some channel balance fluctuation and portions of low sound level and muffled speech. Tape 01 has breaks in recording, loud buzz 00:01:29-00:02:46, and distorted sound in the end portion. Tape 04, Side 02 has breaks in recording starting at 00:38:58. Recording is of meeting of the national board of Artists Equity Association. Discussion is wide-ranging and topics include administrative and financial issues, national agenda, mission of the national association and its role relating to regional chapters, membership, advocacy, and long-range planning and priorities for association's future activities. Board members include Eleanor Dickinson, George Koch and others. None are introduced.
