Recordings have hum, echo, portions of muffled speech, and loud audience reactions. Recording content is difficult or impossible to understand. Side 01 panel discussion centers on different ways of creating and working as an artist, and obstacles to creating and expressing oneself, art education being one limiting factor. Side 02 panel discusses various ways of funding artists' work, such as commissions and government support programs like WPA and NEA, and the increasing proportions of woman artists as educators. None of the panel members are introduced.
