Tape 01, Side 01 and Side 02, Tape 02, Side 02 mechanical hum and traffic noise in background; warble in end of recording. Portions of Nevelson's talk in all recordings are difficult to hear. Louise Nevelson, interviewed by Laurie Lisle, discusses her life. Topics include Nevelson's family, move from Russia to Maine, childhood, youth, getting married, friendships. Tape 01, Side 01 recording includes Diana MacKown in addition to Nevelson and Lisle.
