Summary:
Transcript of an interview conducted by Volkersz at the Pleasant View nursing home.<br>Much of the interview is unintelligible due to Smith's 1964 stroke. Conversation deals primarily with Smith's health, but he briefly discusses his inception of the "sculpture garden," his inclusion in a Walker Art Center exhibition, and his fiddling.<br>Interview on Side 2 of Herman Rusch cassette tape.
