Summary:
This recording contains a series of excerpts of different interviews with Paul Strand.<br>Side 1 contains one complete interview with an unidentified interviewer. They discuss the use of color in photographic art and Strand's own methods.<br> The first two minutes of side 2 contain duplicate material from the end of the interview on side 1. A new interview then starts after this excerpt in which Strand discusses his experience working with exhibitions with Jon Goell, the same interviewer on the cassettes described in Digital Item ID 20814 (Paul Strand Interview, 1973 Jan). It is unclear if the content on this tape duplicates content found in item 20814.
