Albee describes her daily activities, including printmaking projects, housework, and the activities of her sons; outlines her symptoms from an illness and recovery from an operation; and notes major news events such as the Apollo 11 moon landing. <br>A few pages are illustrated, and some have items pasted in such as newspaper clippings and one proof of a bookplate for her son William and another for her son Nathaniel.
