Photo shows Chapin in a zoo in front of a pelican habitat. She has her sculpture on a wheeled cart and is working at it with hammer and chisel. <br>Handwritten note on verso reads: Cornelia Chapin at the zoo working on penguin in Paris. <br>Despite handwritten note, this sculpture appears to depict a pelican, perhaps Chapin's <em>Pelican in repose</em> of 1936.
