Summary:
Date based on penciled note in upper right corner. <br>Bacon begins the letter with a quote from the play <em>Titan the terror</em>. <br>He tells Hale of his plans to find a place to stay and work in Milton, Massachussetts. The letter includes two drawings; a self-portrait of himself in the bath tub, and a drawing of a woman holding a baby.
