Date from typewritten labels on cassettes. <br>Interview is spread over two cassettes, one cassette also contains interview with Walter Hopps. <br>Harris, interviewed by Tuchman, discusses his relationship with Richard Diebenkorn, Diebenkorn's work practices, his move to Albuquerque, mutual acquaintances, and compares his own work to Diebenkorn's. <br>High level of traffic noise in background. <br>One of several interviews conducted by Tuchman in conjunction with the 1977 exhibit, <em>Richard Diebenkorn: Paintings and Drawings, 1943-1976</em> at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
