Summary:
Date estimate based on the years that Johnson studied at Black Mountain College in North Carolina. <br>Johnson describes a hike he took in North Carolina, mentioning plants and an animal trap he saw. The last page is a transcription of text by Josef Albers. <br>Letter is illustrated with sketches of the animal trap and recreating a sketch of DeMott's.
