Item consists of seven reels of black and white film and two reels of color film depicting Mexican town life in the 1930s. Tehuantepec, in the state of Oaxaca, is depicted in reels 1 and 4, and it is likely that Taxco, where Hirsch and Rogo lived, is also depicted, although it is not explicitly identified. <br>The following information is known about the original reels: <br>Reel 1) 00:25-04:28; Tehuantepec, circa 1935 <br>Elsa Rogo appears in the first reel at 2 min., and Hirsch also appears very briefly at 3:55. <br>Reel 2) 04:32-08:23; location unknown, circa 1937 <br>Reel 3) 08:26-12:08; location unknown, between 1939 and 1941 <br>Reel 4) 12:10-14:25; Tehuantepec fiesta, circa 1935 <br>Reel 5) 14:27-18:23; location unknown, 1937 <br>Reel 6) 18:25-22:10; location unknown, circa 1937 <br>Reel 7) 22:15-25:45; location unknown, circa 1939 <br>Reel 8) 26:18-30:04; location unknown, circa 1940 <br>Reel 9) 30:10-33:51; location unknown, undated
