Summary:
Mora chronicles visits from friends, experimenting with photography, the art pieces he is working on, plans to pack up from his vacation house and move back to New York for the winter . <br>Illustrations include: a rainy landscape ("damp beginning of the month"); Mora and his wife Sonia fishing in a canoe ("caught a fine bass with Sonia"); a landscape ("clouds again, then sun is hidden for good"); fish hanging on a line ("Sonia and I caught seven pickerel - threw the smallest away"); a lakeside landscape ("sure signs of fall; low lake; we used to dive here"); himself holding fishing line and net ("got a good sized pickerel"); self-portrait while packing ("getting ready for N.Y. again"). <br>This is one of 242 monthly pocket diaries in Mora's papers.
