Summary:
Publisher inscribed in lower right beneath image: chez Bulla, rue St. Jacques no. 38; chez Martinet, rue du Coq. <br>Hand-colored lithograph depicts various people with heads of animals. A man with the head of a horse and another man whose head is only seen from the back are walking out of a door, away from a woman with the head of a dog who holds another woman with the head of a fish. To their left is a man with the head of a snail.<br> Image is captioned: Allons donc lambin, de l'eau, de l'eau = Come on lazy fellow, water, water; Eh! j'peux pas aller plus vite = Oh, I can't go faster. <br>This is one in a series of prints by Grandville caricaturing the Parisian bourgeoisie.
