Summary:
The Richard Florsheim Art Fund records measure 13.1 linear feet and date from 1934 to 2003, with the bulk of the material dating from 1970 to 2003. The collection consists of artist files arranged alphabetically concerning more than 300 grant recipients of the Richard Florsheim Art Fund. The files contain grant application forms and grant proposals, biographies, budget outlines, exhibition checklists, correspondence, printed materials, catalogs, photographs, slides, and miscellany.

Biography Note:
The Richard Florsheim Art Fund (est. 1989) is an art organization in Tampa, Florida. Established in the will of artist Richard Floresheim (1916-1979), the Fund was created to support living American artists, age 60 or older, with grant support to recognize their careers through funding exhibitions that included the publication of substantive exhibition catalogs, and encouraging the acquisition of their works by nonprofit institutions.
