Biography Note:
Painter and art administrator; San Antonio, Tex. Born in Orlando, Fla. Contemporary realist painter of landscapes of Texas and New England. Worked in oil and lithography. Chairman and president of the San Antonio Art Institute, 1959-1977.
Lent for microfilming, 1981, by the San Antonio Art Institute, via Kenneth Jewesson, director, and Betty Alden White, Waitt's daughter, as part of the Archives of American Art's Texas project.
