Summary:
The records of the Ward Eggleston Galleries measure 0.6 linear feet and date from 1940 to 1965. The records document the history of the New York gallery through one file of correspondence; one file on the Eleventh Annual exhibition of the galleries; and artist files. Artist files consist of correspondence, exhibition announcements, price lists, photographs, and artist statements. Some of the artists represented by the galleries include Ruth Hutton Ancker, Peggy Gerry, Peter Hopkins, Joel Kaplan Annie Lenney, and Edmund Niemann.
