Biography Note:
Collector of, authority on early California art; San Mateo, California. Full name Betty Lochrie Hoag McGlynn. At the time these papers were microfilmed, McGlynn was married to architect Paul Sterling Hoag. She is married to Thomas A. McGlynn, Jr. Her father-in-law was painter Thomas A. McGlynn (1878-1966), whose biography Betty McGlynn wrote in 1979.
