REEL 581: 9 letters and notes to Thompson's grandchildren, 1 letter from S. Morton Vose, Mar. 18, 1963, about the Vose Gallery purchase of the paintings in the Metropolitan Theater, Boston; a photograph of Thompson; poems; juvenile sketches; clippings; and miscellany.
REEL 686: 5 sketchbooks, 1893-1898; correspondence, 1914-1962; clippings; catalogs; and certificates of award. The letters are mostly from Thompson to his daughter, Dora Hanson, and are about fishing, visiting, the family; several are illustrated with sketches.
REEL 692: 53 photographs of Thompson's works, especially portraits, 1904-1941 and undated, and a photograph album containing photos of him in his studio, his home, with his family, 1901-1955 and undated.
REELS 3977-3978: A certificate of merit, 1963; a list of prizes, undated; correspondence, undated and 1949-1961, including several letters from C. F. Walker and V. Fox-Strangways, both writers on fishing; 2 letters, 1973, to Robert Brown of the Archives of American Art, and to Dora Thompson from Arthur P. Spear, Jr., with his reminiscences of Thompson; 3 sketchbooks, 1892, 1898, and 1902; 6 miscellaneous drawings, including 2 of flies for Macdonald's book, 1938-1939;
miscellaneous notes, undated; writings, mostly concerning fishing; clippings, 1951-1955; exhibition catalogs, undated and 1964-1979; miscellaneous printed material, 1951-1972; a photograph of Thompson, undated; 3 photographs of works of art, undated and 1928; a photograph of Frampton Village Church, 1957; and 5 photograph albums of works of art, undated and 1902-1946.
