Summary:
The scattered papers of painter and printmaker Constance Scharff measure 0.5 linear feet and date from circa 1950 to 1976. Found are awards, correspondence, photographs of Scarff and her artwork, printed material, twelve sketchbooks, and sketches.

Biography Note:
Painter and printmaker Constance Scharff (19021998) was active in New York City, New York. She was a member of the National Association of Women Artists and Audubon Artists Inc.. She frequently showed her works in juried exhibitions throughout New York City.
