Summary:
The scattered papers of Adeline Oppenheim Guimard measure 0.2 linear feet and date from circa 1900 to 1943. The bulk of the collection consists of photographs of Guimard's portraits and paintings. Also found is a photograph of her Paris studio and printed material.

Biography Note:
Adeline Oppenheim Guimard (1872-1965) was a portrait painter in Paris, France and New York City, New York. Born in New York, Adeline Oppenheim studied and worked in France and married Art Nouveau designer Hector Guimard (1867-1942) in 1909. She returned to New York City after her husband's death.
