Letters collected by Woods as director of the Norton Gallery of Art, Palm Beach, Florida, including: a letter (with translation from French original) from Jacques Lipchitz to Curt Valentin, 1947, regarding his sculpture "Rescue No. 2" which Valentin delivered to Ralph Norton of the Norton Gallery of Art; a brief note from Walt Kuhn to Norton, 1948; a letter from George Grosz to Norton in response to Norton's request for information on his work; 4 letters from Jacob Epstein to Mr. Hunter of the Norton Gallery, undated and 1949, regarding his sculptures, and a letter from Epstein to Woods, 1956, expressing his condolences on the death of Norton.
