Scope and Contents note:
"I feel constrained, as I sit before a blazing turf fire in my favorite Eire and think on the past, with all the hazards, dangers and hair-breadth escapes which have come my way, to set on paper some of the adventures and exploits which, willy nilly, as a photographer of wild game, a kindly fate has decreed that I should experience - and yet escape with a whole hide! "--Foreword.
General note:
Illustrated by the author. Author's revised typescript. In paper boards. Possibly unpublished. Accompanied by a typed criticism by R. H. Ambrose of, probably, an earlier draft, as Dugmore has acted on some of Ambrose's points, including dedicating the work to his wife, and adding Ambrose's name as a collaborator. Five of the 12 chapters are devoted to experiences in Kenya.
