Scope and Contents note:
Depicts a sable antelope being attacked by two cheetahs, one of which has already caught the startled antelope and is going for its throat. A small "kopje" is featured in the middle ground with the "veldt" rolling away towards other hills in the background.

Original watercolor. The work is signed by the artist in the bottom right hand corner.
