Scope and Contents note:
Broadside announcing a lecture on British exploration and travel in Africa, highlighting the story of the late missionary David Livingstone. The lecture was accompanied by a panoramic display of "beautiful moving canvas paintings" creating "a striking dioramic effect."
General note:
"On this occasion, the lecture will be delivered by Mr. Henry Fisher, formerly schoolmaster and interpreter in Her Majesty's Service, who has for a long period resided in South Africa, is conversant with the various languages, and accompanied Dr. Livingstone on his first journey from Kuruman."
