N53453, N53454, N53458, N53529 - N53531, N53534-N53539 This set contains 12 nitrate negatives shot by Reverend James O. Arthur depicting his wife Katherine Rhoades Arthur (1883-1960) and her family in Iowa in 1913 and 1914. Among the depictions are Arthur Rhoades, Hazel Rhoades, and Margaret Jean Arthur (1913-2010). The photos also depict Rev. Arthur's mother Jean Sculer Arthur and Grandmother Arthur. One photograph depicts Henry Rhoades' house and several depict scenes from a pageant and zoo at Grandview (Grand View) Park.
