Outdoor portrait of the young Algonquin woman Hermeline Chausey(sp?) or Mrs. Alec (Alekshi) Nattaway or Nottaway. She wears a striped blouse or dress with a brooch and safety pin, and is posed in front of a log structure or house on Barrière Lake (Lac-Barrière), Quebec. From Maniwaki (River Desert) and married into the Lac Barriere community.
