Scope and Contents:
Consist primarily of programs, press releases, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and record charts related to the performances of Ray Brown, the Ray Brown Trio, the Oscar Peterson Trio, and their jazz contemporaries. There are also interviews and critical reviews relating to these performances. A scrapbook documenting performances but undated can be found among these materials. See series five audio visual materials for audio and video recordings of performances including the White House Jazz Festival in 1978. The materials are organized in chronological order.
