Consists primarily of the diaries maintained by Sandford for over fifty years. These diaries contain newspaper clippings, notes relating to personal daily activities and family expenses, and ephemera dating from 1871-1924. Frank Sandford also documented national social and cultural events such the 1876 Centennial Fair in Philadelphia. Information relating to his education, finances, legal matters, and family upbringing, are also found among these materials. In addition, there is some correspondence and a wallet. The materials are arranged primarily in chronological order.
