Consist of materials relating to people who played significant roles in American History or who personify the American experience. One such person is the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus (1451-1506) who is credited as the first person to set foot in the Americas. There are also paper dolls of Betsy Ross (Elizabeth Griscom Ross) (1752-1836) who was an American upholsterer and is credited with making the first American flag. In addition,
paper dolls of Annie Oakley (Phoebe Ann Mosey) (1860–1926) and William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody (1846-1917) known for their shooting, showman skills, and abilities to dramatize the American West are also found among the materials. The materials are arranged in alphabetical order.
