This negative is one of six negatives on one 35mm film strip that is 1.5" x 9" in total size. The group is numbered AC0618.004.0000233 - AC0618.004.0000238.
Armed soldiers walking down U Street, passing the Scurlock Studio. There is a sign between the door and the window on the right which reads "SS Scurlock Studios 900". No ink on negative. "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM", "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "12A 13 13A 14 14A 15 15A 16 16A 17 17A 18" edge imprint. "14A 15" is the part of the edge print under this particular negative.

Subseries Rights:
When the Museum purchased the collection from the Estate of Robert S. Scurlock, it obtained all rights, including copyright. The earliest photographs in the collection are in the public domain because their term of copyright has expired. The Archives Center will control copyright and the use of the collection for reproduction purposes, which will be handled in accordance with its standard reproduction policy guidelines. Archives Center cost-recovery and use fees may apply when requesting reproductions.
