Scope and Contents:
Small lined red cloth notebook with handwritten account of Lois Teal's trip by railroad to California and visits to various locations in the state and Seattle. It continues through her return trip to Chicgo and contains her observations of people and places. Teal was about 30 years old at the time. Teal visits: San Diego, San Francisco World's Fair, a balloon trip, sororities at the University of California, Berkeley, a visit to Muir Woods, the United States Mint and many observations of fellow travelers.
