Left side view of the Grumman G-22 "Gulfhawk II" (r/n NC-1050) on the ground, engine running, at Roosevelt Field, Long Island, New York, with pilot Major Alford "Al" Williams in the cockpit; probably December 1936 when the aircraft was delivered to Williams from the Grumman factory in Bethpage, Long Island.
