AS-205/Apollo 7 (Apollo mission C), launched on 11 October 1968, was the first manned launch of the Apollo spacecraft and Saturn IB launch vehicle. The three man crew (Walter M. Schirra, Donn F. Eisele, and R. Walter Cunningham) spent over ten days in earth orbit testing the performance of the Apollo spacecraft.
