Note: It is not understood why the material is so alphabetized. Included are printed maps, a letter, and brochure concerning Bethabara, a Moravian settlement in North Carolina. The maps are two copies of Stanley South's Archaeological Base Map of the Site of Bethabara, Forsyth County, North Carolina, correlated with the Gottlieb Reuter Maps of 1760 and 1766 and the Hoger Map of 1754 with notes taken from the daily diaries and memorabilia of the first settlement of the Brethren's Church (Unitas Fratrum or Moravians) in the Wachau or Dobbs Parish in the Province of North Coloralin at Bethabara. 'A House of Passage begun November 17, 1753, based on excavations in 1963 and 1964, a cooperative archaeological project of the North Carolina Department of Archives and History and the Southern Province of the Moravian Church.
