Closeup view is identical to photo Number 4 in T. T. Waterman collection (Prints 1863, Volume 1), identified as "Pole [No.] 11. Howkan" by T. T. Waterman and "Eagle fig. taken to Hydaburg: land otter figures on either side demolished. Thwaites, 1922" by M. W. Tucker, then BAE Archivist (land otters do not show in this closeup view).
