Biographical / Historical:
Barthelmess at Fort Keogh during 1888-97 period. Concerning the estimated date: According to R.M. Utley (Last Days of the Sioux Nation, pages 257-8), Lt. Casey was killed on January 7, 1891 by Plenty Horses (just after the Wounded Knee massacre).
