INV 08744200. Inscription on verso reads: "When aged 22, age 61, attack on Sioux, wolf." Lean Wolf, identified by name glyph, shown carrying a pipe and flintlock and wearing a feather headdress. Dashed lines represent foot prints and indicate that he approached the enemy camp alone as a scout, or "wolf." Graphite.
