Scope and Contents:
This subseries consists of linguistic research regarding the Kalinga language group. The files were created in three Kalinga villages (Uma, Butbut, and Basaw) by Takaki and her Kalinga assistants and informants. They include word lists, vocabulary slips, morphology and phonology analysis, and dialect comparisons.
The material is arranged in alphabetical order.
Collection Restrictions:
Use of archival audiovisual recordings with no duplicate access copy requires advance notice. Please contact the archives for information on availability of access copies of audiovisual recordings. Original audiovisual material in the Human Studies Film Archives may not be played. Digital media in the collection is restricted for preservation reasons. Access to the Michiko Takaki papers requires an appointment.
