Scope and Contents:
This sub-series contains Smith's personnel files, departmental minutes and memos, and administrative files. It also contains materials relating to efforts to develop a Latin American Studies program at the university. As part of the program, Smith led summer seminars in Yucatán and the Amazon Basin.
