Abstract The Sponsored Research Program of the Arkansas Archeological Survey surveyed a 90 x40 meter area within the Pea Ridge Nationlal Militrary Park, Benton County, for cultural resources prior to construction of an equipment storage facility. The Pea Ridge Military Park is the site of a Civil War battle, with both Federal and Confederate artillery batteries located north of the project area. No artifacts from the engagement or other 19th to mid 20th century historic artifacts were found. A small sparse prehistoriic lithic scatter (3B#589) wa present, but does not merit listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
