Video oral history of Mexican anthropologist Fernando Camara conducted by anthropologist H. Russell Bernard in Spanish and English. Dr. Camara recounts his childhood in the Yucatan and his subsequent years in Mexico City as a student of anthropology under Daniel Rubin de la Borbolla and Alfonso Cazo, among others. Dr. Camara also speaks at some length about the fieldwork he conducted both in Mexico and in other areas of Latin America and comments on the development of Mexican anthropology and its future.
